The Coldroom

I enjoy going out with friends and enjoy a few drinks. Montreal has a lot to offer when it comes to nightlife and you get your picks of different night clubs and lounge. In the past couple of years we’ve had quite a few speakeasy also opening and with lots of talented mixologist in the city it makes it for a fun night of cocktails discovery.

One of the regular ones I have been going to is Cold Room. Located in Old Montreal this is a great place to enjoy cocktails. I have to say that I’m pretty predictable when it come to cocktail and I’ve only tried the Old Fashioned. That been said they make a mean one and even if it’s a classic not everyone makes it right so I have all confidence that the other drinks are also delicious.

If you want to try it you might have a hard time to find it as the entrance is somehow hidden and you’ll have to follow the duck to find it. Once you’re at the door ring the bell and wait and see. The decor is very cool with old stone walls a long bar and high tables in a dim environment. The music is not too loud so it’s great to chat with friends or even for a date night.
