If you happen to be in the financial district of San Francisco and are looking for a quick lunch you might want to hit Yerba Buena Gardens. Since I was busy at the Convention Center it was perfect since it’s right behind the North Hall. I found a few good places there and one of them was Delarosa.

This is their second location in San Francisco the original one located on Chestnut Street in San Francisco’s Marina District. If you decide to visit either location you will not need to reserve as they work on first come first served basis. Since I was alone I was shown a seat at the bar right away with no wait.

The menu as quite a few choices including Insalate, Panini, Spiedini (italian kebab), Pasta and Pizza. I settle my choice on a pizza after seen one pass by me and it looked very good. I wanted to keep my lunch light so I ordered the margherita with burrata. Dough was not too thick and the ingredients really fresh. I like burrata on a pizza for the creamy texture and I find it’s easier on a margherita that is not a cheese pizza to spread it out.

I was in and out within 40 minutes which was good since I had work to do. Portion was good but for lunch I couldn’t finish the pizza. If you go for two I would suggest getting a pizza and a few appetizer to have a good but not too heavy meal.
