As we are getting into the fall and winter is approaching, if you’re like me you might feel the need for comfort food once in a while. On one of those nights what I really felt like was for ribs.

I had never tried Diablos before and the fact that it was a smokehouse got me even more interested. When it comes to smoked food or you like it or it grows on you. In my case I always like the smoked taste and especially in a a BBQ.

Looking at the menu I saw the ribs I was looking for but they also had several combos. Quarter chicken and ribs, pork ribs and beef ribs, beef ribs and brisket but my choice was set on the pork ribs and brisket with a side of cajun fries.

One of the things I like about meat cooked in a smoker is the nice crust the rub gives and both the ribs and brisket had it. The meat was fall off the bone tender and had a good balance or BBQ and smoke taste.

If you like smoked food or if you’re looking to try it, I have to say that Diablos was pretty good and I would have it again.
