This is actually a 9.5 km hike with 170m of elevation gain located in the Mont Saint Bruno National Park. The drive from Montreal is about an 30 minutes.
The hike is easy specially if you don’t take the fork to the right at km 3 from the welcome center. There are other trails too if you want to add distance or switch up your hike.
The trails are well indicated and this is much more of a walk than a hike as the terrain has very few rocks and roots. Portion on the trail is also on dirt roads for the resident of the park. A good pair of walking shoes is all you need for this trail.
There are a few views on Lac du Moulin and Lac Seigneurial but no peak or lookout. On my different hikes there I did get to see lots of deer, herons and lots of other bird species.
