It opened back in January where Racine use to be located, Nolana is the fairly new pizzeria in the Old Port. I went to try out their food last week and I think this will be a nice addition to the neighborhood. The food is good and reasonably priced considering a lot of other restaurant in the area. Their pizza is made in a wood/gaz oven which gives it a great taste. It’s also not pie shaped like you are use too in many restaurants. They also supply you with scissors to cut it up which makes it a lot easier than having to fight with your fork and knife. Pizza is not the only item on the menu, they also have appetizers, sandwiches and pasta. Here are the dishes that I tried and ingredients were fresh and tasty. I would strongly suggest making a reservation if you go as it gets very busy and don’t show up too late either as they had sold all of their pizza by the time we left. Check out their menu and wine list below.
