Pub Wolf and Workman

FRANCAIS

A few years back it was hard to find a good Pub in the Old Port now they are quite a few that opened up and Pub Wolf and Workman is one of them.

Part of the Burgundy Lion Group the Pub opened in the space previously occupied by Scarlet. It’s a great addition to this area of the neighborhood and they kept some elements from the past that gives the place a nice cachet.

Naturally it’s a great place for a pint but they also have a full bar if you prefer cocktails. When it comes to food they are open at 10 am on the weekend and have a breakfast menu and during the week they are open for lunch and dinner.

One great thing about this location is the amount of room they have. The restaurant is almost split in 3 with the bar area, a dinning room area with a semi-private alcove, and an outdoor patio.

I’m usually in the bar area and on the last visit tried their menu. I had the slow roasted pork roast which consists of Porchetta, cauliflower purée, roasted onions, pan gravy. The food was really good and the staff very friendly.

If you’re in the area you should give it a try as it’s a good spot for dinner or simple get together between friends.
