S.O.B Brunch at Pub St-Pierre

I had been to Pub St-Pierre back in February and like I had mentioned in my previous post I really liked it (Pub St-Pierre). They’ve just added something pretty awesome for the summer, in collaboration with Daniel Notkins (Notkins), they are offering every Sunday their ”Summer Ocean Brunch” (s.o.b).

Brunch is served from 10am-3pm and features different recipes all with a touch from the sea. I was there last Sunday with friends and I had the Shrimp Stuffed French Toast. It was super tasty! A mix of spicy and sweet with the maple syrup made it very interesting and who doesn’t like shrimps. There was also a lobster omelet that had caught my attention and a friend who had it told me it was excellent.

The coolest feature about this brunch is definitely their ”Build Your Own Caesar Bar”. How it works….pretty easy, you get your Caesar mug and from the choices of ingredients that range from crab, oysters, grilled cheese, cheese, shrimps, lamb chops you can build your own Caesar. The rule is simple as long as it can fit in the mug you can put as much of the ingredients as you want. You’ll see in the picture below that an engineering background will help you achieve that task. The price for the Caesar is 24$ but if you fill it right it’s worth it!

If you’re there in the afternoon, you can always stretch your brunch and hang around till their happy hour starts at 4pm. It’s a fun place, great staff and the food and ingredients are super fresh. I would suggest a reservation if you plan to go early.  If you drop by we might bump in each other as there is a good chance I’ll be a regular all summer.
