Discovered this cool little spot on Laurier street on the Plateau, Cafe Les Entretiens. We were lucky enough not to have to wait when we showed up at 11am on a Saturday. Maybe it’s because it’s a little outside or the regular busy Plateau area but even when we left there were still some tables available. The decor is very cool with old school posters and pictures a high ceilings covered with copper tiles and a piano. The piano is actually not just part of the decor as they had live music while we were enjoying our brunch. I had the omelette Les Entretiens a nice mixture of spinach, tomatoes, nuts and goat cheese. Food was good and the staff friendly, the live music was a nice touch that made the experience event more enjoyable but not loud enough to disrupt our conversation. If you’re looking for a cozy spot you should try it.
