La Voute

Tomorrow will be the official opening of La Voute. I was fortunate enough to be part of their pré opening last Thursday.

Located in the old Royal Bank of Canada building in the Old Port, the club took full advantage of the building beautiful architecture to create an amazing environment.
Marble floors, stairs and elevators will lead you to the basement where the club is located replacing the banks former vaults where the club takes it’s name. After passing through a steel walled corridor you will enter the main room of the club.

The room has high ceilings and vault door are present and create a nice touch in the decor. The club will have five bars, a dance floor with adjacent rooms. Naturally a nice stage is set up to accommodate the DJ’s who will be performing. I was told capacity is around 500 people but you won’t be cramped since the place boast 13 000 square feet of space.

I don’t want to give too much away since it’s worth the experience to discover it yourself. This will be the line up of DJ’s for the opening week end and below are some pictures and videos from the pre opening event.
