I have to admit that I’m a pretty big fan of steak. For some people steak is all the same but I do enjoy having different cuts. When I was invited to try Cuts by a client I could not turn down the invitation.
They are located downtown Atlanta and close to the major hotels and conference center. The place is quite nice and is very popular so make sure to reserve if you are planning to go.
We started with some appetizers, fried green tomatoes and goat cheese risotto fritters. If you’ve never had fried green tomatoes you have to have some, it’s a southern dish and it’s very good. Thefritters were also pretty good, but they slightly tasted of goat cheese the risotto taste was more prohiminent. I then had the Ribeye as my main, medium Chicago style. Some places call it Chicago some other Pittsburg but in case you don’t know what it is it’s your steak charred on the outside and cooked to your taste on the inside. If you like the charred taste this will be your new way of ordering steak.
Staff was very pleasant and knew their menu really well and were helpful with suggestions. Even if we were a group everyone got what they ordered the way they liked it which doesn’t happen everywhere.
Great place to try if you’re in the mood for a good steak in an nice atmosphere.
