Le Serpent

To find this restaurant you will have to keep your eyes open for the address. Located in the Old Port/Griffin town on Prince Street you will know you’re there when you see a barber’s pole next to some black doors.

This restaurant is quite busy so you will have to make a reservation if you don’t want to miss your chance. The menu has quite a bit to offer and has an Italian inspiration.

The menu does change from time to time so you should visit their website to see what’s coming from the kitchen when you are planning to visit.

I went with some friends who had been there before. If it’s your first time you need to know that even if the menu has a lot of Italian dishes the portions are not very large. You will be contempt with an appetizer and main but don’t expect huge portions.

For starters I had Orecchietti with smoked tomato, green onion and Nordic shrimps. This dish was delicious and all the tastes mixed well together. For main I had the Lobster risotto, with yellow beets, basil and mascarpone. You cannot go wrong with this dish it was splendid and after my appetizer I actually had a hard time finishing my plate but forced myself cause it just tasted too good.

This restaurant is pretty cool, décor and ambiance is pretty laidback with an industrial look that goes well with any occasion you are there to enjoy.
