Take-Out: Mai Xiang Yuan

I love Asian food, I always find it filled with taste and satisfying, one of my favorite dish are dumplings. There’s a lot of places that offer dumplings but not all places do it right. I had discovered a few years ago Mai Xiang Yuan location in Chinatown and I was disapointed to see it close. I also found out they had opened a new location on St-Catherine close to Guy street and that sounded just right as they do very good dumplings.

Not only are they tasty but they offer a large variety for all taste. If you like them steamed or fried you will find something for you on their menu.

Lockdown still been in effect I was also please to discover that they offered delivery throught one of the food delivery service.

I love dumplings so much that I placed in two orders, I went with the fried Lamb and Cilantro and the steamed Pork and Cabbage. I couldn’t just stop there so I added a Pork, Leek and Shrimp wonton soup.

I really like the combination of taste they have on the menu and there are a lot of combination that they offer that you can choose from. I also recommend ordering the cabbage salad, it’s mixed with carrots and has a wasabi vinaigrette, it’s really good.

This is my favorite place for dumplings in the city, give it a try it might become yours.
