Vietnamese food is one of my favorite when talking about Asian food, it’s light and fresh and makes me feel like I’m eating healthy. One restaurant I only had visited once before, as I’m not often in that neighborhood was Le Red Tiger. I went with friends and we had ordered lots of dishes from the menu so I had the chance to try a lot of their food.
I would suggest you get at least two dishes per person when you order. I ordered the Chicken, Crab Meat and Shrimp Imperial Rolls to start off. That was a good choice and they were excellent, they also have a vegetarian option if you prefer. I was in the mood for meat so the other dishes I ordered were the Lemongrass Beef Skewers and the 5 Spices Braised Pork Ribs. The beef skewers were good but I really like the taste of the 5 spices on the ribs.
They have a good selection of other dishes to choose from and vegetarian options as well. They also have a drink menu for take-out. I gave a try to a beer they have, a collaboration between Le Red Tiger and the Harricana Microbrewery. It was a nice light beer and a good fit with my meal.
If you’re into encouraging local restaurants during the pandemic, I would give them a try you won’t regret it.
