This is a 4.9 km in and out hike with 266m of elevation gain located in the Mont Tremblant National Park. The drive from Montreal is about 1 hour 30 minutes. The cost is 8.75$ if you don’t have a SEPAQ Anual Card. This trail is accessible from La Diable welcome center and it has it’s own parking lot.
The hike is easy and starts with a wide road type trail before it narrows down. Besides the mud when I went there was not many roots or rocks in the trail. The incline is also gradual and there’s no steep portion to it.
There is a stream along the first portion of the trail with a couple of picturesque views. At about 3/4 of the hike you will also see a nice cascade. The view from the summit is gorgeous. There are some benches and a rock where you can take a break or have lunch with a view on Mont Tremblant and several other mountains in the area.
If you’re looking for a short easy hike with great views this is the perfect trail for you. There’s also a couple of other short trails in the area if you want to combine it or if you follow the La Coulee trail it makes it an almost 9 km hike.
