I was walking along Rachel Street when I spotted a line up in front of this restaurant. Since it’s right in front of La Banquise I thought maybe people didn’t want to wait and this place was getting the overflow from across the street. I stopped and checked out the menu and decided to give it a try. I can confirm that Ma Poule Mouillée is not busy just because of other popular spots in the neighborhood. This restaurant is a Portuguese rotisserie and offers chicken, chorizo, and sandwiches. The food is really good and rather inexpensive, I had a chicken leg and chorizo which is served with salad and fries and I honestly could not finish my plate. If you are planning to do activities in Lafontaine Park, with the price of their food I`m not event sure it would be worth bringing a picnic as they are only a couple of minutes away. There are obviously quite a few good Portuguese Rotisserie restaurants in the city but this one just made in my top places. I`ve put the menu below so you can have a better idea of what they offer and also of their pricing.
