I was looking for a place for brunch when I realized Le Hachoir was now offering them. It had been a while that I wanted to try the establishment but never got around to it. The place has a good vibe, I like the mix of wood, glass and mirrors that make the place look bigger than it really is. We were lucky as there was no wait to get a table and got a nice one right by the window.

Looking over at the menu it was exciting to see that they went outside the box on what most other places offer. There was an omelette with Duck Confit and some BBQ Benedict with short ribs that got my attention but I opted for the Bacon and Brie stuffed French Toast. It was simply delicious but no need to tell you I had to take a long walk after brunch just to burn all those calories.

The restaurant is also open for lunch and diner and brunch on the weekend. Kitchen closes at 11pm Sunday to Wednesday and Midnight Thursday to Saturday. They also have a good cocktail list with cocktails, beers and draft beers as well as a good selection of Scotchs. The wine list also offer a wide selection in a good range in price.
