Tacos Victor, nice spot for tacos in St-Henri

I was out in St-Henri with a friend looking for a new place to grab a quick lunch. As we were driving we spotted Tacos Victor and decided to give it a try.

Place is pretty small and has mostly standing up eating area aside from a low counter with chairs in front of the window. Decor is very rustic and they also have a cool mural on the outside of the building.

As for Tacos they have 6 kinds, Bavette, vegetarian, chorizo, shrimps, tongue and sirloin. They take 2 tortillas and put cheese in between that are used as the tortilla for your taco and are garnish with coriander and fries (yes fries on the taco) and your choice of hot, very hot or fire sauce. Since it was my first time I didn’t know what to expect and ordered 2, but looking back 1 would have done the job. I took a chorizo and a shrimp taco and both were excellent. I have to admit I was a little surprised to see the fries on the taco but I hate them first to give me room to properly fold them. They also have a choice of juices and some sodas that vary in flavor such as Mandarin, Pineapple and Grapefruit.

Cool spot for a quick bite if you’re in the area, they are open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30am to 9pm.
