While in Toronto I had the chance to try out Parts & Labour. This trendy restaurant open back in 2010 in the Parkdale neighborhood. The kitchen is overseen by Chef Matthew Matheson who creates beautiful and tasty dishes.

I could only go for brunch, which is offered only on Sunday’s from 11am-3pm, and was not disappointed in my visit. They had several more breakfast like dishes but I decided to go with another option as I was quite hungry. The Pork Snitzel is what caught my eye and after getting the thumbs up on my choice by my waiter when ahead an ordered.

If you like Snitzel it has to be done the right way and this one was. Portion was just right for brunch and it was served with a fried egg, beets and sauerkraut. The taste was a perfect mix with the beet and sauerkraut.

I will have to go back on my next visit to Toronto as there was so many dishes that looked good on the menu. I wish I would have had more time and been able to have diner there as they also have and extensive cocktails and beer list.
