After years of waiting the new Azur finally hits the track today. If you commute on a regular base on the Montreal Metro your wish as come through. From now on no more packed wagons as you’ll be able to walk from wagon to wagon and find a comfortable spot. Those wagons will have 22 to 28 fixed seats, 4 to 6 foldable ones and wheel chair areas. I just hope that testing was done extensively and that we won’t run into breakdowns and delays. This is great news for commuters and I for one am very pleased since I use public transport everyday. As of 10:30 this morning on the Orange line I have yet to see one but they are apparently around.
