I went to Kozu with my sister who also often eats out but we also took our mom who does not often has the chance to try out new places. Located on Rachel (where Rachel Rachel use to be) it’s a nice add on to the neighborhood.
The decor is very cool, rustic tables and lamps lots of brown tones which give the place a warm and cosy feel. We had a table close to the windows which provided us with lots of natural light as well.
After a glass of bubbly for the ladies and a drink for me we selected some dishes that we decided to share, as my sister had tried it before so I let her take the lead on the dishes. We took a tartar that was a special of the day, we also took some mushrooms, tuna tataki, Gyoza, some dumplings, black cod and grilled cauliflower.
All the food was excellent but one of my favorite was the black cod and the tuna tataki. The mushrooms were also very good and for one of the few occasions in my life I actually enjoyed the cauliflower as well.
Their menu changes but the quality of the food is always constant as I have visited again since then. If you’re looking for a good ambiance and great food on the plateau this is a solid choice.
