Sometimes you’re in the mood for a nice fancy dinner but some other days you just want something good and comforting, and that’s why I was glad they opened a Kinton Ramen in the Old Port.
On the corner of McGill and Notre-Dame the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. They offer both pork and chicken broth and 5 different flavour for each of them. You can choose thick or thin noodles and you can also add some toppings as an option if you like.
They also have a selection of sides such as Edaname, Kimchi, Karaage and Gyoza just to name a few. They have a selection of beer and spirits and they have Sapporo on tap. The decor is similar to some of their other locations with lots of wood and a Japanese Izakaya feel.
On my visit I had the Pork Shoyu which contains soy sauce, pork, nori and scallions. I also had the Edaname, the Kimchi, Karaage and the Gyoza. Everything was tasty and fresh and over all it was a great experience at a very reasonable price for the neighborhood.
